Hello. I’m Twooty McTwooter (yeah, I know! Unfortunately, I didn’t get to choose my last name). Think of me as your personal wingman. I’m here to keep you updated on all things app-related and help you make the most of your experience. You can chat with me anytime you have a question or concern. If there’s one thing I live for, it’s your feedback!

Here are some Twootverses and FAQs that might help you through your eventful journey

See you on the app

TWOOT

Twoot
A Twoot says “I have two tickets to the Taylor Swift show at Levis stadium next weekend. Looking for company.”

It could also say “Would love to go to Punchline comedy club this weekend. You’re buying.”

Or for that matter “Wicked@broadway SF!! Let’s split (the bill).”

Expired Twoot
A Twoot that’s past its event date. It lives on in your Twoot Stream, showering good karma on all your live Twoots.

Flex-Twoot
Cirque du Soleil is touring all month and your schedule is flexible? Chat and pick a day that works for both of you.

Frozen Twoot
A Twoot with an eventful connection. Once accepted, this Twoot is locked, and only you and your date can chat on it. You (and your date) also stop appearing as “matches” for others. Neither of you can be poached (for this event)

Live Twoot
An active Twoot that’s busy trying to find you the right company for the warriors game next weekend.

Twoot Stream
Your personal history of expired and live Twoots. An overview of your interests. This is your real bio. “Twooty loves theater, hockey, and monster truck shows. He sunset kayaks on the bay in summer and kite-surfs in spring.” ChatGPT didn’t write this. These are Twooty’s actual Twoots from the recent past.

Twoot Withdraw
Change of plans? Withdraw your Twoot. Any chats connected to it will end, too.

Unfrozen Twoot
If your date cancels, but you’re a subscribed user, your Twoots will automatically be “unfrozen” and put back in circulation. You can resume chatting on this Twoot (Plan B) while also getting new matches (Plan C…).

MATCH, CHAT AND DECIDE

(It’s a) match
A rare but happy coincidence when both ask each other out at the same(ish) time.

Ask
Hit the ask button if you feel lucky. Maybe you exchange phone numbers and take it offline, but beware: they might get poached, and you might get stood up.

Accept/Decline
Someone asked you out. Accepting will freeze the Twoot (and that’s a good thing), while declining will end the chat…and if you wait too long, someone else might beat you to it. Decisions…decisions.

Frozen chat(s)
The lynchpin that keeps a date protected. When a conversation moves to ‘accepted’, all your other chats (except the accepted one) on that Twoot get sent to frozen-land along with your Twoot. You both also stop appearing as matches to others. Rubber-necking leads to a sore neck — for you, for them and for me. Go forth and enjoy the event.

Like
It’s a thumbs-up to show interest, but a chat only begins if the person liked responds.

Like back
They like you, but will you like them back? That’s for you to decide. You like back by initiating the chat.

Matches
Twoots get matches (filtered by your preferences and settings).

Unmatch
You had a match but you (or your match) updated their Twoot — They changed their event date or decided they’re not paying (and you wanted to ‘split’)…and now you are ‘unmatched’.

EVENTFUL CONNECTIONS

Your trust and safety are my #1 priority. Help us help you.

Date withdraw
It happens sometimes…something came up and either you or your date had to cancel.

It’s a date
Our raison d'etre. Keep Twootin.

TRUST, COMMUNITY, AUTHENTICITY

T-Score
The T-Score, or Trust Score, is a numerical rating that ranges from 50 to 90. New users start off at 50. This score reflects how well a user embodies our core values: Trust, Authenticity, and Community. Much like a credit score, the T-Score is a key indicator of a user's standing within our community, showcasing their reliability and engagement.

A higher T-Score signifies a stronger commitment to these values, indicating that the user consistently acts in ways that promote trust within the community. This can include positive interactions and contributions that reflect authenticity. Conversely, a lower score may suggest a need for improvement in areas that align with our core values.

The T-Score is more than a number. It represents a user's relationship with others. Active members with positive engagements will be rewarded with improvements in their T-Score, creating a richer, more trustworthy community for everyone.

Twoot Activity
Balance is good, just like in a credit history. Twoot activity that’s too high or too low can negatively affect your T-score.

Courtesy
Always better to decline than to ghost, and always better to withdraw than to stand someone up.

Feedback
We are a community, so let’s have each other’s back. User feedback is the most important part of your T-Score.

Community
We are all ears. Help strengthen our community by submitting fun events and activities in your area.

Casual is great, Committed is better.
